GET TO KNOW
BRANDON DAVIS
WHERE I COME FROM
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, I grew up in an impoverished neighborhood where crime was prevalent. Many of the young people in my neighborhood got in trouble and dropped out of school. That very easily could have been me, but from an early age my mother worked hard to instill values of hard work, compassion, integrity, service, and excellence into her children. Those same principles still guide me in every aspect of my life.
My commitment to hard work and excellence has been evidenced throughout my life’s journey. I matriculated to Central Michigan University at 17 years old. I was a teen parent, and primary caregiver for my two young daughters (Dezi and Tamyra). I graduated and enrolled at Wayne State Law School and later began my career as an attorney in 2010. My daughters and I relocated to Muskegon in 2013 and we have become invested members of this community. Since that time, I have worked diligently to serve others by advancing equity and pursuing justice both inside and outside of the courtroom.

MEET BRANDON'S FAMILY
Dezi, Tamyra, Ace, & Wes
Brandon is a proud father of two beautiful daughters, Dezi and Tamyra. When Brandon became a teen father, he knew that his life changed forever. As a single custodial parent, Brandon has been blessed with the opportunity to do life with his two biggest cheerleaders. Brandon was fortunate to have compassionate professors that allowed Brandon's daughters to attend classes with him while he pursued his education. Dezi and Tamyra often say that since they went to college and law school with Brandon they should automatically get their degrees. Nice Try Girls :)

Dezi is now 19 years old and pursuing a Bachelor in Criminal Justice at Benedict College in Colombia, SC. After college, Dezi plans to follow in Brandon's footsteps by going to law school and pursuing a career as an attorney.

Tamyra is a 16 year old junior at Mona Shores High School. Tamyra enjoys spending time with her friends and volunteering with our local church. After high school, Tamyra plans to attend college and medical school.

Ace and Wes are the four-legged members of the Davis family. Ace and Wes are full of energy and keep the family smiling. Their favorite activity is snuggle time with their humans.
